Serve

One Act of Love

A new way to serve on the 3rd Saturday of each month! As a church our heart breaks for those who go hungry and are without shelter.  This means our  outreach focus will be Hunger & Homelessness.  Each month the 3rd Saturday offers a family-friendly opportunity to fight against Hunger & Homelessness in our community and surrounding areas and cities.

Look for details in January 2020!

Disciples' Food Pantry

Another way our church fights hunger at the local level is through The Disciple's Food Pantry. Every Sunday we collect items for our Deacons to deliver to the only Food Pantry in Woodstown that offers non-parishable items to local families in need.
If you'd like to participate in fighting hunger in our community, you may bring canned goods or pantry items on Sunday mornings, or drop off at the church office any time during the week!  Check out the list of accepted items by clicking below.

Buen Samaritano Orphanage
Dominican Republic Mission

Since 2003, WPC has been serving in various parts of the Dominican Republic every summer!  Currently we partner with a local church in San Juan, R.D. to reach communities with the Gospel.  Basically, we join them in what they are already doing to share God's love in practical and tangible ways.

Buen Samaritano Orphanage

As part of our heart for international mission in the Dominican Republic, we have partnered with Buen Samaritano Orphanage (the Good Samaritan) to ensure that no child goes with out even the most basic of needs.  God lead us to create a sponsorship program where families can adopt a child for a reasonable monthly cost. 100% goes directly to the kids!  For just $30 a month, you can sponsor a child today. The money you send will be used toward food, education, hygiene products and other basic needs.
