What is a life group?
It is community, friendship, faith – it’s connection. Life Groups exist to foster spiritual growth through a relationship with other believers, provide a safe space for Christian fellowship among its members, and encourage service to Christ through outreach into the community. We realize community can be messy, but we believe it is where discipleship and growth happens. Life Groups are centered in the Word of God and based in relationship with one another. Doing LIFE together involves...
Applying biblical truth for everyday living by learning what the Bible says and how it is relevant today.
Welcoming others to the group and into fellowship. Our groups are always thinking about the “empty” chair and who to invite.
Nurturing Christ-centered caring relationships. Deep friendships are formed as membersshare their life stories, encourage each other in their faith, and love as Jesus loves.
Reaching others with the hope of Jesus. Groups are encouraged to reach out in love,to serve others, to be the hands and feet of Christ in their community.
Life Groups that focus on the relationship between women of faith, women exploring faith, and women curious about faith. Sometimes women are looking for a space to do life together specific to the needs of women, and the challenges of women from friendship to motherhood to being a godly wife. If you want to learn more you can see the current groups WPC offers. We are always looking to add new groups and grow this area of ministry.
Life Groups that focus on the relationship between men who are seeking to be disciples and make disciples. A place where men can encourage and challenge one another to grow in their faith as men of God. If you want to learn more you can see the current groups WPC offers men. We are always looking to add new groups and grow this area of ministry.
Life Groups that do not focus on women or men but are open to all. These groups are a mix of singles and couples doing life together. Some groups meet in the morning, others in the evening. Some include a meal and are family-style, while others aim for one hour structured time slots. Learn more about the diversity of groups we offer, and know we are always looking to add more and grow here too!
We offer online spaces for women of faith to connect and grow in faith and relationship with one and another. There are two options on Facebook for women. First, the WPC Propel Women group: An online group where women of faith can connect to grow in relationship with God and one another. This is a safe space for encouragement in our faith. Verses, quotes, clips, songs, and stories are shared here. It is a confidential group where trust is important. We have developed other online life groups from this larger group as well, to serve the needs of women looking for online study time and once a month meet up time.

We meet up (in person) monthly and foster friendships of faith as we tackle life together to discover more about God, one another, and our identity in Christ.
Inspired by the call to action from the Tony Evans Movie, Kingdom Men Rising, MAD Men Rising is a group of men throughout the Mid Atlantic District passionate about networking, discipling, mentoring and connecting with other men who want to make an impact in the Kingdom Of God. This is not so much a life group, but a way to connect with men and possibly find your group in the process.
