What are the services like?
It depends on which service you choose. Our 9 am service is casual, relaxed and contemporary. Our 10:30 service is more formal, traditional, and reverent. Both services provide a worshipful experience with quality music and the same message, but in different styles. Our 9 am service has guitars, drums and technology. Our 10:30 has an organ, a choir, and hymn books. Our 9 am service meets in Fellowship Hall in green cushioned chairs. Our 10:30 service meets in the sanctuary in pews. You get the idea. Both excellent quality, but different in style.
What should I wear?
Attire at WPC ranges from business suits to jeans, t-shirts and even shorts. Our goal is to connect with God (and each other) not to impress anyone with our fashion. So, wear what makes you feel most comfortable!
What about my kids?
Children’s ministry is available for babies through 5th grade, 6th-12th worship with adults. We have nursery and toddler rooms for little ones under 3, and children Prek-5th grade can attend our eXcite program during the worship service, broken down into varied age groups. You can check in your children and attend worship, and someone will be there ready to help you to it! Of course your kids are always welcome in worship.
Visit our Children’s Ministry page for more information.
Visit our Youth Ministry page for more information on Jr. High and High School classes.
Prayer is a crucial way for us to experience God's grace. Jesus used The Lord's Prayer to teach all disciples about how to communicate with God. Christians also order their lives around their relationships with each other, and these relationships are strengthened through personal and corporate prayer with God. The Lord's Prayer is a template for how to bring our needs, concerns, and challenges to God, who cares for each of us. In this series we will explore practical ways to implement the template of the Lord's Prayer in order to transform our prayer lives.
